Violinist Alexandra Preucil enjoys a diverse career of orchestral and chamber music performances. Former Assistant Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, she collaborates with ensembles across the world. Ms. Preucil is active in teaching and community education programs and served as Artistic Advisor to the Cleveland Ballet.

Chamber music highlights include the Mainly Mozart Festival in San Diego, Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, Highlands-Cashiers Chamber Music Festival, Festival der Zukunft in Switzerland, Music From Angel Fire in New Mexico, Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival, Festival de Febrero in Mexico, and the Aspen Music Festival.

Ms. Preucil graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music with a bachelor’s degree in music performance and a minor in dance. While in school, she held the position of Assistant Concertmaster with both the Akron and Canton Symphony Orchestras. As a member of the award-winning Svanito Quartet, Ms. Preucil studied with members of the Cleveland Quartet, Takacs Quartet, and Cavani Quartet while performing across the United States.

Ms. Preucil plays on a 1744 Sanctus Serafin.
